I have always been drawn to creativity and have found art to be a natural way of expressing the things that are difficult to put into words. I am a self-taught artist, inspired deeply by nature, spirituality and the quiet magic found in the world around us.

Working primarily with acrylics, while also dabbling in gouache, I create paintings that blend nature with witchy, boho, fantasy and ethereal influences. My work often has a spiritual quality, exploring feelings of connection, mystery and escapism. I love creating pieces that invite the viewer to pause, get lost in the imagery and perhaps feel something of their own within it.

For me, painting is an immersive experience. I put my music on, pick up my brushes and can completely lose myself in the process. I don't always begin a painting knowing exactly where it will take me; I enjoy allowing the colours, shapes and ideas to develop organically.

Although art is not currently my full-time career, it is something I dream of pursuing one day. I am a proud member of the Visual Artists Association and continue to develop my practice, explore new techniques and discover where my creativity can take me.

One of the most rewarding parts of being an artist is seeing the emotions that my work can bring out in other people. Whether a painting evokes calm, nostalgia, wonder, curiosity or something more personal, I love the idea that a piece of art can connect with someone in a way that words sometimes cannot.
