Original acrylic painting on canvas - 60 × 90 cm
Dreamstate was inspired by a vision that came before a dream, a fleeting glimpse of somewhere that seemed to exist beyond the boundaries of waking life.
Beneath the shadow of a solar eclipse, a mystical landscape emerges. Ancient fir trees line the distant mountains while layers of drifting mist soften the landscape, creating a world suspended between reality and imagination.
Within the haze, the spirit of a dragon moves freely across the land, almost hidden within the atmosphere. Neither entirely seen nor entirely unseen, it becomes a presence from another realm, a creature belonging to the space between dream, memory and the unknown.
Dreamstate explores that mysterious threshold where the familiar begins to dissolve and the imagination takes over. It invites the viewer to step beyond the visible world and wonder what might exist just beyond the veil.
An atmospheric and immersive piece created for those drawn to myth, dreams, ancient landscapes and the quiet mystery of the unseen.
